1. Business Activity

PAKKT.io is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform designed for hosting and network infrastructure professionals. It provides tools for managing, deploying, and monitoring network protections based on XDP/eBPF and nftables technologies.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on the pakkt.io website (texts, images, graphics, logo, icons, software, source code, technical architecture) is protected by copyright, trademark law, and intellectual property law, both in France and internationally.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, transmission, distortion, in whole or in part, of the website or its content, by any means whatsoever, and on any medium whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorization of PAKKT.io.

The PAKKT trademark, logo, and associated visual identity are registered trademarks or pending registration. Any unauthorized use constitutes counterfeiting punishable under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

3. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, PAKKT.io is committed to protecting the personal data of its users.

Data Collected

In the course of its business, PAKKT.io collects the following data:

  • Identification data: email address, username.
  • Technical data: IP address, network metrics, audit logs, connection data.
  • Billing data: payment information processed by our payment provider Stripe (PAKKT.io does not store any banking data).

Processing Purposes

  • Service provision and management (account creation, protection deployment).

  • Communication (service notifications, security alerts).

Data processing is based on the execution of the contract (provision of the SaaS service) and the legitimate interest of the Publisher (security, service improvement).

Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the duration of the subscription and deleted within 30 days of the definitive closure of the account, unless a longer legal retention obligation applies (billing data: 10 years).

User Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation of the processing of your data and receive a copy.
  • Right of rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data under the conditions provided by law.

  • Right to restriction: request the restriction of processing in certain cases.

Data Transfers

Data is hosted on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). Certain sub-processors (Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI features) may process data outside the EU, under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions).

4. Cookies

The pakkt.io website uses cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service:

  • Authentication cookies: maintaining user sessions (JWT).
  • Technical cookies: interface preferences, navigation state.

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

5. Limitation of Liability

The information contained on the pakkt.io website is provided for informational purposes and is subject to change at any time. The Publisher cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information published.

The Publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from access to or use of the website, including inaccessibility, data loss, or damages caused by viruses.
