1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "ToS") govern access to and use of the PAKKT.io platform (hereinafter "the Platform"), published by PAKKT (hereinafter "the Publisher").

PAKKT.io is a B2B SaaS platform for managing and monitoring network protections based on XDP/eBPF and nftables technologies. It enables infrastructure professionals to deploy, enable, disable, and monitor network protection programs on their servers (VPS and dedicated) from a centralized panel.

Use of the Platform implies full and complete acceptance of these ToS.

2. Definitions

  • User: any natural or legal person who has created an account on the Platform.
  • Agent: software installed on the User's server enabling communication with the Platform and enforcement of protection rules.
  • XDP Program: a network filtering rule deployed via the Agent on the User's server.
  • Tenant: an isolated client workspace grouping resources (agents, rules, metrics) of a User.

3. Registration and Access

Access to the Platform requires creating an account. The User agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information upon registration. Each account is personal, and the User is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials.

The User agrees to immediately notify the Publisher of any unauthorized use of their account or any breach of its security.

The Publisher reserves the right to refuse or revoke access to any User who does not comply with these ToS.

4. Service Description

The Platform provides the following features:

  • Deployment and management of protection agents on the User's servers.
  • Configuration and deployment of network filtering rules (XDP + nftables) from a centralized panel.
  • Real-time monitoring of network traffic and protection metrics.
  • Marketplace of pre-configured protection templates validated by PAKKT.
  • Personal library of reusable configurations.
  • Management of IP blacklists and whitelists.
  • AI-assisted generation of protection rules.
  • Public API for integration with third-party systems.

5. Pricing

The Platform operates on a per-agent billing model:

  • 3 EUR excl. tax per agent per month.
  • 1 agent = 1 server (VPS or dedicated) protected via a network interface.
  • 7-day free trial offered when adding the first agent.
  • Monthly billing, payment by credit card via our provider Stripe.
  • Add or remove agents at any time with prorata billing.

Prices are listed in euros excluding taxes. The Publisher reserves the right to modify pricing at any time, subject to providing Users with 30 days' notice.

6. Free Trial

The first agent created benefits from a 7-day free trial period. At the end of this period, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription unless the agent is deleted by the User. No amount is charged during the trial period.

7. User Obligations

The User agrees to:

  • Use the Platform in accordance with its intended purpose and these ToS.
  • Not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent purposes or in ways that infringe on the rights of third parties.
  • Not attempt to circumvent the Platform's security measures.
  • Not use the Platform to facilitate or conceal malicious activities (DDoS attacks, hacking, etc.).
  • Ensure that the Agent installation on their servers complies with their provider's terms of use.
  • Maintain their servers in a state compatible with the Agent's operation.
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Agent or any component of the Platform.

8. Liability

The Publisher uses reasonable means to ensure the proper functioning of the Platform. However, the Publisher does not guarantee 100% protection against network attacks. The Platform is a management and monitoring tool; its effectiveness depends on many factors, including the configuration chosen by the User and the nature of attacks.

The Agent is installed on the User's servers under their responsibility. The Publisher cannot be held liable for damages resulting from misconfiguration, non-compliant use, or incompatibility with the User's environment.

Under no circumstances shall the Publisher's liability exceed the amount actually paid by the User during the 12 months preceding the triggering event.

The Publisher cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure, Internet network malfunction, or any event beyond its reasonable control.

9. Service Availability

The Publisher strives to ensure optimal availability of the Platform. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance operations, updates, or unforeseen events. The Publisher will inform Users as far as possible of any scheduled interruption.

10. Intellectual Property

All elements composing the Platform (software, source code, interfaces, texts, graphics, logos, trademarks) are the exclusive property of the Publisher and are protected by intellectual property law.

The User benefits from a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the Platform during the term of their subscription. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, or exploitation is strictly prohibited.

11. Data and Confidentiality

The Platform collects and processes technical data (network metrics, IP addresses, audit logs) necessary for its operation. The processing of this data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.

User data is hosted on servers located in the European Union. The Publisher commits not to resell or disclose User data to third parties, except as required by law.

12. Termination

The User may cancel their subscription at any time from the Stripe management portal accessible from their dashboard, or by deleting their agents. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refund will be issued for the remaining period.

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User's account in case of non-compliance with these ToS, non-payment, or behavior that undermines the integrity of the Platform. In case of non-payment:

  • D+0: the account enters "past_due" status.
  • D+3: grace period (restricted features).
  • D+7: account suspension and deactivation of protections.

13. Modification of Terms

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Changes will be notified to Users by email or via the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These ToS are governed by French law. In case of any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these terms, the parties shall endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.
